How to lock apps on your iPhone using Screen Time
iPhone do not have an official way to add password on each application as like android Smartphones. also not available any third party apps on apple app store to protect your apps in os devices. however theres is a new feature introduced by Apple called screen time passcode. with screen time passcode, users can add passwords on each application as like android Smartphones.
OS version Required:
- iOS 12 or above must be installed on your iPhone or iPad
Here's the Process to Protect Apps:
Go to Settings on your iPhone from the settings page choose 'Screen Time'
enable the Screen Time and set Passcode as your Choice
under the screen time, click on App limits and click on Add limit
choose apps by category type and clik on Next
Set Timing for the Apps and click on add Now, open the app and start using it’
After the set time interval, the app will automatically get locked and to access the app it we required Screen Time passcode.
Open the app and tap on ‘Ask for more time’ & enter the Passcode.
Now, it will ask you the time which you want to access the app from options - one more minute, approve for 15 minutes or approve for all days
Select the option as per your Choice and all Done.
